The Bharti School of Telecommunication Technology and Management was established in 2000, through a very generous financial grant made to the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi by M/s Bharti Enterprises, one of the leading telecommunication companies in India.
It has two programs- Masters' in Technology (M.Tech - Telecommunication Technology and Management)Masters' in Business Administration (MBA - with a focus on Telecommunication Systems Management) Each of these programs is geared to the telecommunication sector and imparts a unique set of courses which prepares the communication engineer and manager for a role in the telecommunication sector.
Presently, 20 students are admitted each year in each of the School's programs. All applicants for the MTech(TTM) program need to qualify (usually in the 99th %ile) in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) exam conducted by the IITsM.Tech program is supported by the School through generous monthly stipends, on-campus accomodation and an annual contingency grant. every year and appear for a rigorous selection interview. Each student admitted to the All applicants for the MBA(TSM) program need to qualify in the Joint Management Entrance Test (JMET) and appear for an interview. The students in the MBA stream are not eligible for on-campus housing, have separate higher fee structures with general MBA candidates and need to support themselves financially.
