Trigonmetrical Functions
- formulae for Sine (sin), Cosine, (cos) and Tangent (tan)
Trigonometrical functions are widely used in the design,
development, and analysis of radio and electronics circuits, as well as in other
applications such as antennas, and RF components. These relationships are widely
used in the design and development of many RF and other radio circuits.
sin (A + B) = sin (A) . cos (B) + cos (A) . sin (B)
cos (A + B) = cos (A) . cos (B) - sin (A) . sin (B)
sin (A - B) = sin (A) . cos (B) - cos (A) . sin (B)
cos (A - B) = cos (A) . cos (B) + sin (A) . sin (B)
sin (2A) = 2 . sin (A) . cos (A)
cos (2A) = cos^2 (A) - sin^2 (A) = 1- 2 sin^2 (A) = 2
cos^2 (A) - 1
sin^2 (A) + cos^2 (A) = 1
1 + tan^2 (A) = sec^2 (A)
1 + cot^2 (A) = cosec^2 (A)
