Premchand Babu, a resident of Rampur Village, has been working for the last couple of years with an intention to improve the life standards of his villagers. He has successfully executed many development activities integrating a number of sectoral approaches: agriculture and animal husbandry are improved, taking into account both economic and ecological criteria. Access to natural resources such as water, land and forests is improved. In fact in the last couple of years he has made a significant impact in escalating the life standards of his villagers.
Now, Premchand Babu decided to contest in the forthcoming elections with a pious intention of extending his works to other villages in his constituency. But Premchand Babu is skeptic about the support from the people of other villages as they are not aware of his past activities.
Also, since Premchand Babu is contesting in the elections for the first time, Hiralal, a close friend of Premchand Babu, suggested him to hire a private agency that could plan and perform the election campaigns on behalf of Premchand Babu in all the villages. Alternatively, Premchand Babu can visit as many villages as possible, study the present socio economic circumstances prevailing in those villages and announce his plans on how he could bring a change in their lives if he is voted to power besides telling them about his past activities that brought a remarkable change in the lives of many of his fellow villagers.

Definitely,the second option is the best one as this will not only help him to get in touch with the villagers and know about their present standards but also this acts as the groundwork for all the activities that he has to plan once he is voted to power.
Don't you find that this story is similar to the story of a student planning to study abroad?
